Nate & Morgan Williams are both lifelong Montanans who now call Billings home.

Nate comes from a long line of entrepreneurs and spent many days drilling water & geothermal wells with his dad in Eastern Montana before an Air Force career & a degree from The University of Montana. Several years ago a personal building project propelled him to look for an alternative to helical piers. It was then that he learned about ground screws.

Though ground screws have been used all over the world for the past several decades, they are still a relatively new product in the United States. With their innovative cylindrical rods & helical threads designed for efficient and precise soil penetration, ground screws eliminate the need for extensive excavation, reducing time and labor costs.

Nate was convinced that all builders in our region deserve access to a product that modernizes construction practices & promotes sustainability, so he dove in and hasn’t looked back. Today Montana Ground Screw is a proud distributor of American Ground Screw products in MT, WY, ID, & the Dakotas.
