ground screw distribution & Installation
build with quality and efficiency
Ground screws work the same way as concrete footings, only they outperform across the board. Ground screws consist of a steel shaft with spiral blades that are drilled into the soil. They are designed to provide exceptional stability and load-bearing capacity for projects like decks, cabins, and ground-mount solar arrays. The ground screws we use are ICC Certified, and meet are accepted by any county or municipality that recognizes the 2018 International Building Code.
Ground screws allow you to build efficiently without sacrificing quality. Much like a helical pier, ground screws are the solution for many common building issues such as: tight access, building over existing concrete pads, and access in remote locations.
Unlike traditional concrete foundations, which require extensive excavation and heavy machinery, ground screws can be easily installed using lightweight equipment such as mini-excavators or hand-held machines.
How it works
-
Plan your project & book an installation
Planning to redo your deck, construct a pergola, or build any other structure that needs footings? Reach out to us! We’ll answer any questions you have about ground screws versus concrete footings. We will provide you with estimate based on your project, and when you’re ready we can set a date for the installation.
-
Our installations go quickly & smoothly
When we show up on site we get right to work. We drill a pilot hole for each footing, and then the installation of screw begins.
-
When the last screw is in place, you can start building
When the final screw is installed, you start building immediately. There is no time lost waiting for concrete to dry.
Advantages of Ground Screws
-
Ground screws can be installed year round.
-
They meet U.S. building standards across the U.S.
-
The ground screw is reusable, unlike concrete.
-
Made of galvanized steel so they are resistant to corrosion and harsh environments.
-
Suitable for all terrain, all soils, and tough surfaces (and can be fitted to adapt just about anywhere).
-
Does not destroy surrounding surfaces and environment during installation.
-
Thoroughly engineered and tested for tension, pressure and load.
-
No waiting on concrete to cure- can start construction immediately after installation.

WAYS TO USE GROUND SCREWs
-
Pergolas, patio covers, sheds, and other similar structures need to rest on a sound foundation. Ground screws are the perfect foundation solution for your next project.
-
A ground screw is a much better solution than the older, heavier concrete footings. When the grid of ground screws is in place you can immediately get to work framing your deck.
-
Ground screws are an efficient and reliable solution for solar panel installations. They provide a sturdy foundation that can withstand extreme weather conditions and offer flexibility in terms of placement. The benefits of using ground screws include faster installation times, reduced labour costs, and increased durability.
-
Ground screws are a versatile and flexible solution for any foundation need. For example, a simple shed can be built on a deck-like foundation or frame and the number of supports will vary depending on the size of the structure. Other storage buildings, such as bicycle sheds or children’s playhouses benefit enormously from the flexibility of ground screws and their precision adjustment for height and location.
